About Me:

I've been doing some modeling over the past couple of years and like it thus far. I would like to continue with it, so if you know anyone.... I recently posed for Andy Warhol, thus the profile photo. You can also find me on the web at splashmodel.com, Faith2Reality.com, eviemansfield.com & uptowntalent.com/crystalw & art.com under Original Art & Photography. I have 4 copyrighted paintings there with prints available for sale. You can also view those paintings as jpegs on this site, along with a few others.

Brian & I had a little girl, Chloe Belle (meaning blossoming beauty in Greek & French) on August 21st. She is amazing and we cannot imagine life without her.
There's nothing that can prepare you for such an event!!!

Been married for 4 years this past June. We built our first house in February of '06, thanks to my dad's skill & labor.

Also, I've been working in the school systems now for about 5 years--taught English, psychology, and now work as a guidance counselor. Am currently taking post-graduate classes through the University of Virginia. I love my work hours and having the summers off! I sort of miss teaching English; however, I do get to do some writing workshops with students in preparation for state standardized testing.

Interests:

I like art, reading, writing, photography, music, traveling, shopping, decorating, the beach, nature.

Favorite Music:

Most currently I'm listening to The Last Kiss soundtrack--movie with Zach Braff of Scrubs (huge crush on him!) and Snow Patrol. Saw them at the Norva not too long ago and they're just as awesome live!, I'm into Iron & Wine--look and listen for The Trapeze Swinger on the In Good Company Soundtrack. Also, track 4 on James Blunt's CD--Goodbye My Lover. Also a fan of: the Eels, the Vines, the Killers, Coldplay*, Cake, the Shins, Radiohead*, Elliot Smith, Madeleine Peyroux*, Beck*, Dwight Yoakam (I actually saw him in person at Paramount Pictures while viewing the rough cut of Homegrown--he was hanging out with Billy Bob Thornton), Weezer, Dinosaur Jr.*, Sonic Youth*, Modest Mouse*, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, *(met him when he played Carpenter Center in Richmond--had photo taken on tourbus--he autographed it and I lost it!), Robert Earl Keene, the White Stripes, Nick Drake, the Cars, Ben Folds*, Saves the Day, Don Williams, Cat Stevens, the Pixies, the Breeders*, the Beatles, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, Digable Planets*, Sade*, Al Greene, Joni Mitchell, Hoover, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Toni Braxton, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Chet Baker, Mazzy Star, Cowbow Junkies*, Cracker*, Ani DiFranco, Jack Johnson*, Ben Harper*, Bob Marley, the Smiths, the Cure, Jesus and Mary Chain, Rusted Root, Primal Scream, Supergrass, John Spencer Blues Explosion, Howlin' Wolf, Frank Sinatra, Cesaria Evora, Sebadoh*, Thievery Corporation, Luscious Jackson*, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, Edie Brickell, Sheryl Crow, Tracy Chapman, Everything but the Girl*, Jane's Addiction, Jimmy Eat World, Bob Dylan, Prince, Pink*, Lenny Kravitz*, Joss Stone, Beth Orton, Lamb, Patsy Cline, Duke Ellington, Sun Ra, Blackalicious, Common, David Gray, Dido, Emmylou Harris, Erykah Badu, Tori Amos*, Norah Jones, Sarah Maclaughlin, Jewel, Janet Jackson, Barry White, Alanis Morissette*, Snow Patrol*, the Strokes, Lake Trout*, Tulsa Drone*, Bio Ritmo*, Sliang Laos*, the Clash, U2, REM (saw Michael Stipe in person at Brown's Island in Richmond at the Sonic Youth show), the Beastie Boys*, Peter Gabriel*, Linda Ronstadt, PJHarvey, Natalie Merchant*, Rick Nelson, the Allman Brothers*, the Stadtler Brothers, the Smashing Pumpkins*, Fiona Apple, the Hives, the KGB, Modern English, Jurassic 5*, Dispatch, Death Cab for Cutie, Nirvana*, Tribe Called Quest*, De La Soul*, Palace Brothers*, Chemical Brothers*, Red Hot Chili Peppers*, Fatboy Slim, Tricky*, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Aretha Franklin*, Roberta Flack*, Deee Lite because "Groove is in the Heart"..., All band names with an asterisk (*), I've seen live in concert.

Favorite Movies:

Good Will Hunting, Forrest Gump, Wings of Desire, Amelie, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Great Expectations, The Talented Mr. Ripley, White Oleander, Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio, High Fidelity (anything with John Cusack), Walk the Line.... I love a variety of movies for a variety of reasons--same as music. I'm a huge fan of Johnny Depp--Edward Scissorhands, The Secret Window, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Blow, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ed Wood--(not so much), anything he's in. He's delectable, divine.

Favorite TV Shows:

I love Blowout on Bravo, America's Next Top Model, and Project Runway--basically anything insipid, shallow and banal--oh yeah, Dr. 90210, almost forgot. Consider myself to be brainwashed by "the man". Also, I hate anything on ESPN. I watch Grey's Anatomy every Sunday night--now Thursdays--and am a big fan of The Office and Studio 60 with Matthew Perry!!!

Favorite Books:

I recently finished reading Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult and All You Need is Love and Other Lies about Marriage by a male author, as well as several books on pregnancy. I love White Oleander by Janet Fitch, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and The Secret History by Donna Tart. I like the poetry of Marge Piercy, Anne Sexton, Charles Simic, Charles Baudelaire, Arthur Rimbaud, D.H. Lawrence, Goethe, Hesse, Poe, the political writings of Althusser & Baudrillard. Cyrano de Bergerac is one of my favorite plays. I love Shakespeare, the romantic tragedies. I also love David Sedaris and Anna Maxted--on the lighter side.
